Contact Enrichment Best Practices
Contact enrichment is one of Insyte's most used features. Here's how to get the most out of it.
1. Start with the Right Companies
Before revealing contacts, make sure you're looking at the right companies:
- Match your ICP — Use filters to find companies that fit your ideal profile
- Check the company profile — Review basic info (industry, size, location) before spending credits
- Look for buying signals — Companies showing active signals are more likely to respond
2. Target the Right People
Not every contact is worth a credit. Focus on:
- Decision-makers — VP-level and above for enterprise deals
- Champions — Manager-level people who will advocate internally
- Influencers — Technical evaluators who impact the buying decision
3. Verify Before You Reach Out
Insyte provides confidence scores for contact data:
- High confidence (90%+) — Email is verified and likely accurate
- Medium confidence (70-89%) — Email is probable but less certain
- Low confidence (<70%) — Consider alternative contact methods
4. Use Data Responsibly
- Always comply with email regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Honor opt-out requests immediately
- Don't send unsolicited bulk emails
- Personalize your outreach — the data is there to help you be relevant
5. Bulk Operations
For efficiency:
- Build a company list first, then reveal contacts in bulk
- Use CSV export to import into your CRM or email tool
- Tag and organize contacts for segmented outreach
